November 14, 2011 Winter Schedule Begins.... RS is bringing in the holiday season with a pre-Thanksgiving date at Bar None in Derby. Also, we will be heading down to NYC for our annual holiday performance at the legendary Bitter End followed by our 7th Annual Christmas show at The Neutral Ground to support struggling military families at Bethesda Military Hospital and our friends at Project 912 in CT. On New Years Eve, we will perform again at Mohegan Sun Casino's NYE Bash at Lucky's. There is no better way to bring in 2012! A couple of major shows/announcements forthcoming.... October 1, 2011 October 2nd, we will be headlining the Mahopac (NY) Street Festival. (noon to 3 pm/all ages). On October 23rd, we will be featured at the 21st Annual Keene (NH) State Pumpkin Festival, which has been labeled the Best New England One-Day Festival by The Boston Globe, and attracts almost 80k people. (7 pm/just before the fireworks). On the 24th, we will be playing at the Greenwich (CT) 2011 Food & Wine Festival starting at 12 noon as the opener for Sister Hazel. Rusted Root and pop sensation, Natasha Bedingfield, will also be appearing at this two-day event sponsored by Serendipity Magazine and Unger Publications. August 28, 2011 Fall News -- Awards, Great News & Shows We were voted again the Best Indie Rock Band (2010 & 2011) by the readers of Fairfield County Weekly. Jay Schod also won for Best Singer-Songwriter. We will performing again at Hartford Weeklies' Grand Band Slam At Arch Street Tavern in Hartford (Sept. 24th). Relix Magazine will hit the newsstand on August 30th. We are on their compilation cd with renowned acts, like The Meters and Umphrey's McGee. Special 9/11 concert at Captain's Cove. A return to Stephen's TalkHouse in the Hamptons, Dana's 50th party at Mohegan Sun and more.... July 12, 2011 "Fly Me Back Home" - Relix Magazine Our song, "Fly Me Back Home," has been chosen by Relix Magazine, a national music magazine with a monthly readership of over 300k people, to be included in the On The Rise Section of their September issue. The track, which is about the escapades of drinking too much at band practice (It only happened once! really!!), will be included as part of their compilation cd inserted in every issue! We've provided a free download of the track for you below....For everyone else, it can be purchased at most newsstands nationwide! July 9, 2011 July News -- Summer Fun!! With all of the picnics and beach stuff in July, we hope that you'll spend some time with Fairfield County's Best Indie Rock band. Our upcoming schedule includes the 7th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival alongside legendary songwriter Marc Cohn ("Walking in Memphis") and pop contemporary, Augustana. Mix in shows at Mohegan Sun and Splash! in Westport with the 2nd Anniversary Party for Sound Magazine, the area's bible for music & entertainment, at Seaside Tavern, and our special Walter Reed Benefit Concert at Captain's Cove (July 30th) to support the troops. Finally, add a couple of olives, with an Indie jam session at Freight Street Gallery (POSTPONED) in Waterbury and another performance at the 35th Annual SoNo Arts Celebration, and you have an awesome "summer concoction to help you hang on!" We love seeing you! May 6, 2011 Don't miss our show tonight at Mohegan Sun as we return to The Dubliner. Join us for a 10 pm show. Our performances at the Montauk Music Festival have been scheduled for Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14th. We'll be headlining at Gurney's Resort. "Summer's Coming!!! We will be starting off our busy summer schedule with a show at Mohegan Sun (May 6th), a weekend of performances at the Montauk Music Festival (May 12-15th) and a return date with the Average White Band at Toad's (May 27th). We are trying to select the best festivals, outdoor venues and coolest clubs to make your experience with us the best possible. In keeping with this aim, we will be playing from New Hampshire to Georgia, including our fourth annual benefit concert in coordination with Salute the Veterans for the injured soldiers and their families at Walter Reed Medical Center in DC (August 13th). We will be collecting donations, gift cards and small gifts (unwrapped) at all of our shows!"

RS is going to be supporting legendary blues guitarist, Johnny Winter, for the fifth consecutive year Friday, March 4 at Toad's Place in New Haven. There are still a limited number of discounted tickets available, which can be purchased by calling 877-507-2231...click here for more info January 21, 2011 RS to appear on "Better Connecticut;" headlining the Wolf Den @ Mohegan Sun!! The band will be performing this Friday, January 28th, on Better Connecticut (CBS Channel 3) at 3pm. It will be our 5th appearance on this show, which just this past year made our single "Better This Way" their theme song! The band is also going to be headling the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino on Wednesday, February 2nd. This great venue has state of the art sound, staging, and lighting. At one time, it referred to any band not signed to a major label. Remember September aren’t signed to a major, and since their sound is a hybrid of their many musical interests, it’s difficult to pigeon hole them into any one genre.
